LATEST NEWS

Underlying AIRCs commitment to heritage preservation and communication of those values to a larger audience, we hosted the Getty Conservation Institute MOSAIKON seminar in Rome in early May 2018. Bringing over seventeen professional conservators from North Africa and the Middle East and directing the program with GCI colleagues, Darius created unique learning experiences and obtained exclusive access to restricted sites such as inside Trajan’s Column and site visits in the Roman Forum and Domus Aurea with the superintendent directors.

 

Darius Arya - coming to a TV near you!

On August 19 2018 AIRC Director Darius Arya’s newest TV show ‘Invisible Cities’ aired on PBS (accessible in the US only). The three-part series begins with Darius exploring the hidden history of Athens - later episodes will see him venture to Istanbul and Cairo.
